Besides being absolutely beautiful, the fabric is good quality, as soft as butter and fully lined with adjustable straps. It was more fitted than I expected, but because of the full lining, the fit was smooth and very flattering. It is a bit long for my taste, but I am only 5' tall, so this came as no surprise. I normally wear an x-small or small. I ordered small in this dress and it was a perfect fit. It is very versatile - you can dress it up with a pair of heels and a pretty necklace or wear it casually with a pair of flats. I highly recommend!
